Position: AI Research Lead

As an AI Research Lead, you will lead an AI team to conduct cutting edge research and author high impact papers on the research.

Research Goal:

To develop an on-device personalized AI model capable of real-time learning based on user-specific data input. The model should mimic real-world user behavior to produce identical outputs given the same inputs.

Technical Approach Includes (but is not limited to):

  • Training an external memory model alongside a “parameter-frozen” LLM
  • Identifying original facts in LLM features for localized parameter updates
  • Exploring new AI model structures beyond transformers to better utilize long-term memory and train personalized models

Support Provided for Research and Practical Needs:

  • Real-world user data and requirements in AI2B, AI2C, AI4Health scenarios, with broad application prospects
  • Unlimited computing resources as required by the research
  • Comprehensive AI engineering capabilities and infrastructure
  • Interdisciplinary technology integration with brain science and neuroscience

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
  • Proven track record of leading AI research projects at technical institutes. And published research in reputable AI journals or conferences
  • Active participation in AI and data science communities
  • Bilingual, fluent in Chinese and English is a plus (as candidates need to liaise with Chinese/Mandarin speaking counterparts in China for job/research purposes)
